Featuring Ryoko Akama live at the Lanternhouse, Ulverston, Cumbria, on 29th March, during her tenure as an artist in residence at the arts centre. This was an improvised set using a shamisen and MaxMSP. Ryoko started her set by talking about her interest in phenomimes and psychomimes which she draws upon for her ongoing project pheno_psycho_mime. In an interview for Phantom Circuit, she goes on to tell us about her future projects.
This is the second of three editions of Phantom Circuit marking the closure of the Lanternhouse venue with interviews and concert recordings.
